A career which
has spanned over 23 years in
financial services and private banking. He was, until recently, a Managing Director of
UBS Warburg helping to establish their European onshore private
banking business. From 1996-1999 he was Chief Executive of the
offshore businesses of Coutts Group. From 1978-1996 he worked for J.P. Morgan in New York,
Brussels, London, and Paris, most recently as Managing Director in charge of JPM‘s
onshore private banking business in Europe. |

In addition to his private banking experience, he
has a broad experience in the offshore trust business, the foreign exchange and money
markets, and various areas of investment and commercial banking. |

He is an honours graduate of Williams College
(1975), a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (1977),
a member
of the Board of International Overseers of Tufts University and
of Trustees of the Mac Jannet Foundation. |

He has lived in Zurich for the past
six years
with his wife and daughter. |
